When I first opened the Little Lehigh Fly shop in the early nineties, fishermen from the Main Line Fly -Tyers impressed me. When Dave Baker their, president, invited me to speak at their meeting room in Archbishop Carrol High school I was honored.
That was over thirty years ago. They were HOT SHOTS in Radnor, they are still HIGH SPEED now that they meet at the Greater Plymouth Community Center
Established in 1971, MLFT is Phillys oldest fly-tying club. It’s meetings are professionally run, geared to be structured and informative.
I’ve spoken there a few times since. I continue to be impressed.
