STREAM SUMMARY FOR EASTERN SPRING CREEKS

 



The first part of March brings water temperatures in the mid-forties and the first Robins of the season.

 

Large white patterns I.e. Woolly Buggers produce big fish in March

Notable patterns include Woolly  Buggers, Al's Rats, Griffiths Gnats, Honey bug Inchworms, Scuds, Cress bugs,  Snow flies and Sucker Spawn.

 

I also carry Glo bugs, Honey bugs, Beadheads, Brassies, Blue Winged Olives (18 & 24’S), Crane flies, Pheasant Tails, Crawfish, Elk Hair Caddis, Gold Ribbed Hares Ears, Don’s Sculpins, Soft Hackles, Turkey Nymphs and Wonder Nymphs.
